Hi, I'm Kiz, the owner and artist of Maiarla Dreaming!
I am a proud Mandandanji and Noonuccal woman who was born and raised in Rockhampton, QLD with my mum and older sister, Nysh.
Outside of art, I love playing sport. I grew up competing in Trampolining before transitioning into Touch Football when I was 12 yrs old and then AFL and Rugby League later on. Through sport, I have had the opportunity to grow closer to my community and share my culture which has helped me create this dream of mine through endless love and support.
My Goal
My goal is to share my love and passion for art and my culture with my community and others.
I am passionate about creating art with raw emotion and authenticity that brings peoples stories to life.
Art allows me to share my culture, connect with people, and give others an opportunity to have their stories told in a unique and meaningful way.
